For people with light office needs, Microsoft’s Surface Laptop series has been loved by many people. With the increasing volume of the market, the Surface Laptop series has entered the sequence of annual updates. It is reported that in April this year, Microsoft will launch a new generation of Surface Laptop 4, configuration, users can choose to carry AMD processors and Intel Tiger Lake-U models when purchasing.
Currently, AMD CPUs are only available for 15-inch models, and the next-generation Surface Laptop, the smaller 13.5-inch models will also use both AMD and Intel CPUs. Currently, the newly leaked benchmark shows multiple configurations of the Surface Laptop 4. In a benchmark, this notebook uses the Intel Core i5-1135G7 (Tiger Lake-U), the highest clock speed is 4.40Ghz, and the memory is 8GB.
Another benchmark shows that it has a built-in custom AMD processor. This unspecified processor may be part of the AMD Renoir series, but we don’t know if Microsoft intends to use Ryzen 5 4000 or 5000.
