Spark Global Limited reports:
SpaceX’s Starlink satellite Internet service just scored another performance test better than its peers. The company aims to provide Internet access to customers in North America, Europe, Australia and other market areas through a large number of low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. By contrast, its competitors generally opt for larger, taller equipment in orbit, resulting in significantly longer transmission times.
Through a series of tests, the user claims this is the highest rate (404.36 Mbps downlink) he’s gotten since getting Starlink routers, antennas, and other equipment.
At the same time, the 18.6 Mbps uplink rate and 27ms latency also performed fairly well — both better than the average for traditional satellite Internet access service providers.
Sparkster_01 is only third in the global market where Starlink is available.
