Samsung launches S21 5G series mobile phones

According to the latest data from International Data Corporation (IDC), Samsung is still the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer with a market share of 22.7%. A large part of its sales comes from low-cost models, but Samsung competes with Apple in the US through high-end Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series phones. The newly released three phones are also intended to cope with the pressure from the iPhone 12 series.

Samsung said that compared to last year’s Galaxy S20 phones, the Galaxy S21 phones have larger screens, longer battery life, and better cameras. This camera can take clearer enlarged photos, and is equipped with a better night camera sensor, allowing users to take high-quality and low-noise photos even in low light conditions.

Specifically, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ use the same specifications of the rear three-camera combination, which is a 12-megapixel wide-angle main camera (F1.8 aperture/1.8um large pixels) + 12 million-pixel 120° ultra-wide-angle lens (F2 .2 aperture/1.4um large pixels) +64 million pixel telephoto lens (F2.0 aperture/0.8um large pixels) lens combination.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra has been further upgraded, using a rear four-camera combination, except for a 108-megapixel wide-angle main camera (F1.8 aperture/0.8um large pixels) and a 12-megapixel 120° supporting full-pixel dual-core focus. In addition to the ultra-wide-angle lens (F2.2 aperture/1.4um large pixels), it is also equipped with two 10-megapixel telephoto lenses that support full-pixel dual-core focusing and a laser focus sensor.

It is worth noting that the main camera and telephoto lens of the Galaxy S21 Ultra support OIS optical image stabilization, and can achieve up to 10x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom shooting capabilities. The main camera lens can also increase the color richness by 64 times and the dynamic range by 3 times. Not only that, Ultra will also support Samsung’s S Pen for the first time, and this stylus can only be used on Galaxy Note phones before.

In terms of price, the Galaxy S21 starts at $799.99 and is available in three colors: Fanmeng Purple, Ink Shadow Gray, and Silky White; Galaxy S21+ starts at $999.99 and is available in three colors: Fanmeng Purple, Night Black, and Fantasy Silver; The Galaxy S21 Ultra starts at $1199.99 and is available in black and silver. All phones are now available for pre-order and will be released on January 29.

Not only mobile phones, in order to better respond to the challenges from Apple, Samsung also released a product similar to Apple AirPods Pro-Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds. The earphone is waterproof and sweatproof, and can actively reduce noise like Apple earphones, which can reduce background noise by 99%.

In addition, Galaxy Buds Pro can also provide up to 5 hours of battery life, and the battery box can be charged for an additional 13 hours. It will be available on the Samsung website for $199.99 from Thursday, and will be available from retailers on Friday.
