According to reports, the rumored 12.9-inch Mini-LED iPad Pro will be released at the end of this month or early next quarter, and the new machine will still use LCD screens, but will be upgraded to Mini-LED backlights to improve brightness and contrast.
At present, it is unclear whether the 11-inch iPad Pro will also upgrade the Mini-LED screen. One possibility is that the Mini-LED backlight will be limited to the 12.9-inch model, and the main new features of the 11-inch model are limited to the A14X chip and 5G support. But it is still unclear.
In other respects, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be equipped with a more powerful A14X chip, support 5G networks, and built-in 6GB of memory.
Previous rumors indicate that Apple will hold a media conference on March 23 to introduce products such as the new iPad Pro, AirTags, the new Apple TV, the new AirPods, and the new Apple chip Mac.
The current news is that Apple will launch a 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Mini-LED backlight. Epistar will be the exclusive supplier of Mini-LED chips, packaged by Lunda Electronics into a backlight unit.
