In particular, Huawei’s first 5nm chip, Kirin 9000, was unable to obtain sufficient supply from the outside world, which directly led to the shortage of Mate40 mobile phones.

At present, the world’s most advanced chip manufacturing process is 5nm, and its performance is stronger than the previous generation of 7nm, but the power consumption is lower. If you continue to use the original process technology, 5nm can be regarded as the top process, and then it will be 3nm and the limit of 1nm.

But integrated chips can exist indefinitely, so there is no need to worry about bottlenecks, and at the same time they can meet performance requirements. For example, if two or more 7nm chips are integrated together, it can exert stronger performance than 5nm, which is equivalent to bringing a perfect solution for Huawei’s high-end chips.

Although the power consumption of an integrated chip will definitely be higher than that of a single chip, as long as the subsequent technicians reduce the impact of power consumption, the integrated chip can completely replace the advanced process chip.
