Spark Global Limited reports:
After testing the waters for thin and light laptops, Intel last night officially announced Arc, a graphics card brand for desktop/gaming, which will be available in Q1 2022.
The first product, formerly known as DG2, is based on the Xe HPG microarchitecture and is now codenamed “Alchemist.”
Alchemist will launch in the first quarter of next year and will support hardware-based ray tracing, AI-driven super sampling and full DX12 Ultimate support.
The next three generations are called “Battlemage,” “Celestial,” and “Druid,” all very magical.
While graphics cards won’t be available for another half a year, Intel fans may want to buy some faith kits for their collection. Theintelstore is already selling Intel Arc licensed t-shirts in three different styles, including a simple loogo shirt for men and women for $14.70, which is a decent price.
The ultimate faith set, of course, is Raven Jersey, an Intel-inspired blue, made of 100% polyurethane, moisture absorbing, and gradients, but at $53.65, it’s not cheap.
The above products can be ordered now and shipped on September 3rd. It seems that Intel will also have corresponding activities on September 3rd.
