Foreign media Anandtech revealed the performance of the Snapdragon 888, and from the actual test situation, it has been greatly improved compared with the previous generation Snapdragon 865, such as a 25% increase in CPU performance and a 35% increase in GPU performance.

Looking at more test details, in the GFXBench test (the higher the value, the better the GPU performance), the graphics processing power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor is 55% higher than that of the previous generation processor. Qualcomm previously believed that the graphics improvement would be around 35%.

In addition, the results of Huawei Mate 40 Pro are also included in the test comparison, which is equipped with Kirin 9000. From the actual score, its GPU performance is almost tied with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

As for the GPU, Kirin 9000 is a 24-core Mali-G78, while Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is Adreno 660.

Of course, in terms of GPU running points, it has always been the strong point of Apple’s A-series processors. A14 and A13 both occupy the top two of GFXBench.
