Analyst Guo Mingxu shared a report with investors in which he predicted that iPhone 13 shipments would be stronger.
Guo believes that Apple’s iPhone sales will be stronger not only in 2021, but also next year, that is, 2022. He predicted that the shipment volume in 2021 and 2022 will reach 230-240 million to 250-260 million units respectively. In 2020, the shipment volume of the brand will reach 195 million units.
Guo predicts that in the second half of 2021, the iPhone’s share in the high-end market will increase. Apple is expected to release four new iPhones this year, with smaller bangs, upgraded cameras, a refresh rate of 120Hz and the latest A15 processor.
Guo estimates that the new iPhone will ship 88 million units in the second half of this year, compared with 75 million units in the second half of 2020. The new iPhone se will still be available next year, he added.
The iPhone 13 lineup will include four models, similar to Apple’s strategy for the iPhone 12 series last year.
