DJI officially released the DJI FPV traversing machine at night. The DJI FPV rider is small and flexible. The operator can wear VR goggles to control from the first perspective. It only takes 2 seconds to accelerate from 100 kilometers to 100 kilometers. It supports one-button emergency braking and intelligent return to home functions.
The appearance of DJI FPV and traditional UAVs still have a certain degree of difference and recognition. In order to meet the high-speed flight, the plane of the four blades is greatly inclined to the front. The fuselage adopts a streamlined design, gray fuselage, and the take-off weight of the fuselage is 795g. The UAV offers three gears of N, S, and M, with different speeds. Among them, the M gear has the fastest speed, and the maximum horizontal flight speed can reach 39m/s (27m/s in China). The speed limit for N gear is 15m/s, and for S gear is 27m/s.
The maximum flying altitude of the UAV is 6000 meters, and it can last about 20 minutes at medium speed in a windless environment. The longest cruising range is 16.8km, and it can resist 6 winds.
The front and bottom of the DJI FPV rider are equipped with a sensing system for obstacle avoidance. At the same time, there are red indicator lights on the front landing gear, and a high-brightness white fill light at the bottom to ensure flight safety.
As for the camera, the main camera of the DJI FPV ride-through camera is equipped with a 12-megapixel 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with a lens angle of view of 150 degrees and an aperture of F2.8. The sensor sensitivity range is ISO100–ISO12800, and the shutter speed is 1/50-1/8000 s.
The DJI FPV traversing camera supports 3840×2160 photo and video shooting, including 4K video recording up to 60fps, 1080P video recording up to 120fps, and H.264 and H.265 encoding. The maximum bit rate is 120Mbps. In addition, the video color mode supports two kinds of standard, D-Cinelike, with powerful electronic anti-shake function. The drone has a built-in microSD card slot, which supports a maximum of 256GB memory card, and there is no onboard storage space.
The DJI FPV flight glasses V2 in the suit uses digital image transmission technology, with a delay of only 28ms, a distance of up to 10km, and a maximum bitrate of up to 50Mbps. In order to ensure the performance under high-speed control, the frame rate of the image transmission video is 120fps, and the viewing angle of the VR glasses has also reached 150°.
The DJI FPV ride through machine supports 2.4GHz/5.8GHz dual-band automatic switching, and adopts a “three-transmit and four-receive” high-gain omnidirectional antenna to effectively enhance the coverage signal.
DJI FPV ride-through remote control 2 has a delay of as low as 7ms and adopts a Hall element rocker to improve accuracy and extend its service life. The remote control can be set to normal mode, sports mode and advanced manual mode to meet the requirements of pilots of different levels.
