Dell Technology Group displayed many different game rooms and different products in the virtual exhibition hall of this year’s online CES. The latest products of ALIENWARE include ALIENWARE 15.6-inch M15 R4 and 17.3-inch M17 R4, the new AMD gaming desktop Aurora R10.
ALIENWARE has three main main axes in product design. The first is appearance; the second is performance; the third is gaming experience, including screen refresh, keyboard or Tobii and other technologies.
The M15/M17R4 ultra-light notebook continues some of the R3 design. In the desktop part, this is a desktop computer that has recently cooperated with AMD. In recent years, Dell has also made contributions to environmental protection, and has also cooperated with customers and suppliers a lot. In the environmental protection part, the packaging materials used are recycled packaging materials. In the product design, in addition to the use of environmentally friendly packaging materials, this time the front side of the paint also uses environmentally friendly matte paint, like the surface of the machine on the screen has added a durable layer, long-term application will be affected by fingerprints and dirt. Very good resistance. In addition to the coating, the body is actually made of magnesium alloy, which can bring a thin and light experience at the highest hardness.
In terms of thinness, the thinnest part of M17 is 16.9 mm, M15 is 17.9 mm, and the thickest part is about 20 mm. In such a thin and light body, of course, the definition of lightness and thinness depends on the CPU and GPU. Under such a thin body, i9K processors can be achieved, as well as the latest Nvidia graphics cards, up to 3080. This is the performance of Max-P.
In the refresh rate of the screen, the 17-inch screen uses the highest refresh rate of 360Hz technology. On 15 inches, there is also a 300Hz refresh rate, which uses 100% sRGB color gamut and 300nit brightness. The 17-inch 360Hz also uses Nvidia G Sync technology.
In the process design, a hexagonal wind design is adopted. Unlike the general circular wind design, there will be some gaps in the middle when the circles are stacked. ALIENWARE adopts CRYO-TECH heat dissipation structure, because ALIENWARE can be matched with K CPU, and the graphics card is also Max-P, and it can extend battery life with ultra-high efficiency voltage regulation.
The new design is a temperature wall setting. It can set the maximum temperature of the CPU through the BIOS. Compared with most notebooks, the temperature is adjusted through the wind speed, and the CPU is stable in the BIOS, so the user can choose 85 degrees as the maximum acceptable temperature, or 86 degrees, 87 degrees. In the part of Nvidia’s cooperation, Dynamic Boost was made. After Dynamic Boost is turned on, the useless power consumption of the CPU can be allocated to the GPU to improve the performance of the GPU. Under the structure of ALIENWARE CRYO-TECH, the thermal technology of the soaking plate includes the vacuum soaking plate.
In terms of gaming experience, AlienFX emotional synchronization light effects can be matched with more than 190 games. The keyboard or anything else that can be adjusted AlienFX can have custom colors.
The brand-new AMD gaming console maintains a minimalist design, including the adjustment of lights in four areas, and can have four different lights at the same time. With a 16-core, 32-thread design, in-depth players can use this top-performance monster AMD desktop to give full play to when they are playing 3A masterpieces or when they really have workstation graphics needs.
The internal structure includes a hexagonal design, and the entire wind flow design can achieve a temperature reduction of 8%. Its ALIENWARE classic logo and the ALIENWARE word on the far right can be customized by users.
The game console uses a swing-arm power supply, which can be easily turned on without tools, and some storage upgrades, including memory, also use XMP memory that can be overclocked.
The three displays listed in mid-October last year were 38-inch curved displays, and 27-inch and 25-inch gaming displays. They are all designed with a sense of science and technology, and they use a metal body. Both the bright and dark sides of the moon surface are used. The color difference is obvious. There are four places on the display with lighting effects, the ring-shaped light strip at the back, the alien logo, the switch button is one place, and the spotlight directly below, the lighting effects all support 16.7 million colors.
ALIENWARE’s display screen has heat dissipation holes on the top of the front and also on the back. Inside the display, there is also a built-in silent fan to dissipate the built-in chip.
The color performance and response speed of 38 inches and 27 inches are excellent. Both 38-inch and 27-inch grayscale have a response time of 1 millisecond, and the IPS screen has a long service life, a hard screen and good color performance. The resolution of the 38-inch screen is WQHD+21: 9, and the screen resolution is 3860*1600. This monitor has passed HDR600 certification, G Sync Ultimate certification, and DCI-P3 standard, meeting 95% color requirements. The sensors are equipped with built-in sensors on the four corners of the display, which can dynamically capture changes in ambient light and dynamically adjust the light on the screen.
The 27-inch 2K resolution display has a higher color gamut coverage than 38-inch, 98%. Since 27-inch and 25-inch are more concentrated in e-sports and racing games, their refresh rate can reach 360Hz, and it is also a 1ms grayscale response speed, which is the limit that IPS can reach at present. The display adopts a borderless design and has HDR600 certification.
The 25-inch display screen has a screen refresh rate of 360Hz. Dell and Nvidia have built-in Reflex. This monitor has built-in Reflex software, which can analyze the delay time between clicking any pixel on the screen with the mouse to the screen feedback.
