Taiwan’s mobile phone market share in June

In terms of sales, while Apple topped the June ranking with 59.1 percent, nearly triple that of No. 2 Samsung, its share of sales in June was down from the 60 to 70 percent it had seen in previous months. In June, Apple, Samsung and Oppo took the top three spots, as they did last month. In fourth place, Asustek edged out Vivo by two places, followed by Sony, Realme, Xiaomi, Redmi and HTC. While sales of the ZenFone 8 series weren’t particularly strong, they still generated good sales numbers for Asustek

In June, Apple’s share of the market dropped by more than 4 percent compared with May’s sales. The sales share of Samsung, the second place, increased by 1 percentage point, and the gap between the two has narrowed significantly. In the rest of the rankings, except for Vivo’s sales share, which declined slightly compared with May, other brands all showed an upward trend.
