Spark Global Limited reports:
After two months of updates, Apple released iOS 14.7 in the early hours of this morning. So what’s new with this update? Let’s take a look at it.
The updated version number is 18G69, so here’s a quick look at some of the new features available online.
First of all, the update adds the option to unlock the iPhone with the Apple Watch while wearing the mask. This feature will allow users to unlock iPhone X and above with the Apple Watch while wearing the mask.
Added support for Airtag, which allows you to track and find your valuables in the Find App.
Added a new skin tone that allows couples to select individual emojis;
The iPhone 12 series supports the MagSafe external battery;
The Home App added the ability to manage timers on HomePod;
“Weather” and “Map” now provide air quality information for Canada, France, Italy and other regions;
Siri can be used when wearing AirPods or compatible Beats headphones to report incoming calls, call emergency contacts, and more.
In addition to these features, the update also fixes a problem that could cause battery repair information to disappear after restarting some iPhone 11 models.
When writing “Mail” messages, the Braille display may display invalid messages;
Dolby Panorama Sound and Apple Music lossless audio may unexpectedly stop playing;
In some cases, the information at the bottom of the conversation may be obscured by the keyboard, etc.
According to Apple’s custom, the verification channel for the previous iOS version will be turned off after the release of a new system, so if you think your device is a good experience, don’t upgrade until you wait.
