Adobe claims that on the M1 Mac, the average running speed of some features of the new version of Photoshop is 1.5 times that of the Intel version with similar configurations. Adobe also said it will work with Apple to further optimize performance.

The new version of Photoshop still has some functions that cannot run on the new M1 chip, such as inviting to edit cloud documents and preset synchronization. Adobe today also released an upgraded version of the Photoshop iPad application that can view the version history of cloud documents and process cloud documents in an offline state.
